We rent to students who live in studenthouses through the whole of Holland. It is important that there’s a minimum of two students living in the house. Are you a student but almost finished your study? No problem, you can still rent with your studenthouse!

In most cases we can deliver within two working days. When you order before 10.00 am, we can often deliver the next day! When placing the order online you can select a delivery date, and one day in advance you will receive a timeframe when we will come and deliver the requested device. Would you like us to call you just before we arrive? No problem!

Of course! We will connect all products and also any stairs up to the 4th floor are no problem. It is however important to know that the location can be reached properly and safe and that we don’t have to do any plumbing activities. The connections should be ready. A device should be able to be placed within 1,5 meters of a connecting point. Do you have any queries or do you hesitate whether this is the case, please contact us. You can always make a photo and send it to us via WhatsApp so we can have a look at it.

You can indicate this straight away when ordering, so we can calculate the space in the truck. It is however important the the old machine is clean and dry and easily accessible for the drivers.

That’s the advantage of renting with Splash Lease! The costs for repairs are for Splash! Even if the product needs to be replaced, we will take care of it, free of charge.

Please note that this service is applicable to defects and malfunctions that occur with regular usage of the device. In case defects are caused by bad maintenance or uncareful usage like coins, hair clips i.e. in a washing machine, we could charge some costs for repair.

No problem at all! In this case you can transfer the contract online, through your My Splash account. You can select the contract to be transferred and your house mate can simply take over the contract online.

We are pleased that you want to rent with us! You can place an order through the website, we will then have all your details straight away and you can select a delivery date. After that we will contact you to verify the details and answer any questions.

No, we do not ask for a deposit. The costs that will be charged are shown at the type of contract, these costs are only the monthly rent. We will not charge anything extra. Also at delivery you will not have to pay anything of course. This will all be charged afterwards.

You can cancel free of charge if you do this no later than 2:00 pm on the working day before delivery will take place. The statutory right of withdrawal then applies, which means that you have the right to terminate the rental agreement without giving any reason up to 14 days after delivery. You can use the model form on the website for this or - we make it even easier for you - simply app, call or email us. In this case you will be responsible for the return costs, which amount to € 100,- for the first contract and € 50,- for each subsequent contract.

We use the company Focum for our acceptance procedure. If the test is negative, we can refuse the application, you will be notified immediately.

Legally you have a so-called right of withdrawal. This means that you can cancel the rental agreement up to 14 days after entering into it. In that case, return costs will be charged, see our General Terms and Conditions, article 5. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you can Model form for dissolution / revocation Complete and send it to us. But you can always do this by telephone, WhatsApp or email!

We deliver on working days and the times are approximately between 7 am and 7 pm. You don’t have to stay at home all day, you will receive a time frame one day in advance. Would you like to be called just before we arrive? No problem at all!

Defects are never welcome and often happen at a bad moment. Before you notify us you can check the tips on the website. A lot of defects can be solved by yourself so you can start using the machine immediately again. Does it still not work? Please report the defect through the website or WhatsApp. We will process it and send a mechanic if needed. In case the malfunction cannot be solved or it cannot be repaired we will exchange the product for you quickly.

No, payments will be taken care of afterwards. The rent will be charged from the day the device has been delivered at your house, we will do this with an automatic withdrawl.

Payments will be done by direct debit. You can choose yourself whether you prefer the direct debit to be around the 1st, 15th or 24th of each month. Do you have a bank account in the name of the house? No problem, we can also use that bank account!

It could happen, being a student, that there’s not enough money for Splash. No problem, it happens! We will then send you a message and you can pay the invoice through My Splash with iDEAL or PayPal.

At the first direct debit we will send the invoice by e-mail. The amount at the first direct debit can be different from the monthly rent. The reason for this is that the rent is calculated from the day of delivery and you will pay from that day until the end of the month and possibly the next month as well.

In case the direct debit failed we will send you a text message or e-mail about this. You can then transfer the amount to us yourself or do a payment through My Splash by iDEAL or PayPal or even have the amount withdrawn again by us.

You can change your details by logging on to your My Splash account. You can change your bankaccount number or the date for the direct debit. Are you moving out and do you wish to transfer the payments to another person? You can also transfer the contract through your account.

Yes, you can!

For each contract, you can choose whether to have it taken over or ended. You simply offer the contracts for takeover, and different people (like housemates) can each take over a different contract. Super flexible!

No problem! This often happens in a student house. In this case you can transfer the contract online, you can log in at My Splash. You can select the contract to be transferred and your house mate can simply take over the contract.

Are you moving out yourself and do you wish to transfer the contract to another person? You can then indicate your contract to be transferred, your house mate can take over the contract online.

When you’re moving there are two options:

1. You can move the device yourself to the new addres. Please notify us in advance, just in case of any possible damage.
2. We can move it for you, against a transport fee. You can contact us to make an appointment.

You can end your contract with us by phone, email, WhatsApp, or via My Splash. Within the delivery schedule, you can indicate when you would like the device to be picked up.

After the minimum rental period, you can cancel your contract at any time, with a one-month notice period. For example, if you cancel on the 10th of the current month, the contract will end on the 10th of the following month. You also have the option to purchase the device after the minimum rental period. Please contact us if you would like to learn more about this option.

Yes, that’s possible! For each contract, you can specify whether you want to have it terminated (or taken over). Nice and flexible!

After the minimum rental period of the contract, you end end the contract daily with one month notice. For example when you let us know on the 10th of the month that you wish to end the contract, the contract will be ended on the 10th of the following month. The rent will be paid until the end date of the contract or until the device has been picked up when the pick up date is after the end date.

Not at all! When the minimum duration of the contract has been passed you can end the contract with one month notice and we will pick up the device free of charge. When you need to end the contract and the minimum duration has not been passed, we will charge 50% of the remaining rent to be paid and we can pick up the device earlier than the offical end date of the contract. This is only applicable when there's already at least 1 year passed of the contract.

That’s up to you. When you end the contract online you can select a pickup date straight away. When the minimum duration of the contract has been passed, there's one month notice to end the contract. The rent will be charged for the month but we can pick up the device earlier if you like.

After the minimal rental period has been passed we can offer you to purchase the product from us if you want. When you're interested you can always contact us for more information.

For moving an appliance, we charge a fixed fee of €100. The rate is the same whether you move within the same city or, for example, from Groningen to Maastricht.

A move usually takes place in two steps:

1. We collect the appliance from your current address
2. At a later time, we deliver it to your new address

In most cases, your username is the same as your email address. So please try logging in with your email address first. Have you recently updated your email address in Mijn Splash? If so, your username will – where possible – be updated automatically.

Still unable to log in? Let us know, and we’ll send you a link that allows you to log in and set a new password right away. Once logged in, you can view and/or update your login details under My Details.

Yes, you can! In your account, you can manage contracts for multiple addresses. You can also have them transferred or terminated separately. Totally flexible!

We can delete your account if you like. You can send us an e-mail to klantenservice@splash.nl in order to request that.

If you want to create a business account, this is possible. After submitting the application, we will request you to provide an extract from the Chamber of Commerce of the authorized signatory. It is very important that the same person is specified as the main tenant, in addition to stating the name of the company or organization.

With this account you have the ability to manage your contracts and view invoices , to report faults, etc.

As a company or homeowner, renting white goods gives you a lot of freedom. You can install top-quality appliances for your tenants without having to make a large investment. A nice advantage of leasing white goods as a company is that the service is included. That means you don't have to worry about anything – we'll take care of everything!

If problems are experienced with the rented device, the service report can be made directly by the resident(s) of the address. This can be done via WhatsApp, by telephone, or by using the NFC chip and QR code on the device in question.
Of course, the notification may also be made by the company/organization that manages the contract.

If it concerns a larger project, we offer the option of a customized offer, outside our standard range. Other product types can also be considered.

Yes, absolutely. At Splash we believe it is important that you receive your invoice in a way that is clear and convenient for you. For example, you can choose an invoice broken down by location, or based on an invoice reference or contract number. This way you always have the overview that best fits your situation.

No, Splash is not legally obligated to do this.
The law requires stores to take back an old appliance for free when you buy a new one. Because renting is a service and not a purchase, this policy does not apply to rentals.

However, we will dispose of your old appliance for free. This is an additional service we are happy to offer.

We can delete your account if you like. You can send us an e-mail to klantenservice@splash.nl in order to request that.

By law, you must be able to cancel in the same way you placed your order.
At Splash, we make it even easier! You can cancel via My Splash, WhatsApp, email, or even by phone. You will always receive a confirmation of your cancellation.
