Like so many ideas, Splash Lease started on a beer mat. In 1989, two students came up with the concept during a night out at the pub—a concept that would later grow into Splash Lease.
Today, Splash Lease has grown into one of the largest providers of appliance rentals for students.
Our story
Like so many brilliant ideas, Splash Lease also began on the back of a beer mat. It was 1989, and during one of their many nights out, two students scribbled down the rough concept that would later grow into Splash Lease. What started back then as a smart idea to help students get quality appliances without the hassle has now grown into one of the largest providers of appliance rentals for students in the Netherlands. Our principle has remained the same ever since: to offer students an affordable and worry-free solution for their washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, and other appliances.

Onze reis door de tijd
Eind 1989 kregen 2 studenten het idee om wasmachines aan studenten te gaan verhuren. Na wat brainstormen was de oprichting van Splash Lease een feit.
Begonnen in Utrecht werd al snel uitgebreid naar andere steden. En naast wasmachines kwamen er ook drogers, vaatwassers, koelkasten en meer in het assortiment.
In de jaren daarna bleef het bedrijf groeien. Al snel werd de huiskamer ingeruild voor een heus kantoor en niet lang daarna werd de eerste medewerker aangenomen.
Om de klantenservice op hoog niveau te houden, hebben we de afgelopen jaren sterk geĂŻnvesteerd in een modern digitaal ondersteuningssysteem. De reviews spreken boekdelen!
Vandaag de dag is Splash Lease uitgegroeid tot hét toonaangevende witgoedverhuurbedrijf speciaal voor studenten. Vraag je buren maar eens waar zij huren!
