Renting and Sustainability
Sustainability is at the heart of what we do. We rent out energy-efficient appliances to students, allowing them to benefit from eco-friendly equipment without making large investments. After each rental period, the appliances are refurbished and thoroughly cleaned by a specialized (WEEELABEX-certified) company.
We also provide practical tips on saving energy, replace appliances in time with even more efficient models, and ensure responsible disposal through Stichting OPEN and WeCycle. This way, we offer convenience while contributing to a sustainable future.
Sustainable through collaboration
In student houses, there are often old and (very) energy-inefficient appliances. That’s not only bad for the environment but also unnecessarily expensive. In addition, some appliances — especially dryers — pose an increased fire risk. And of course, we want to prevent that!
To improve the situation for students, Splash Lease and SSH Student Housing have started a collaboration. Together, they aim to replace as many old appliances as possible with new, energy-efficient ones. Visit our SSH Info page for more information, or get in touch with SSH.
