Connections

We advise you to check whether the required connection points are available in your home before placing an order. In order to connect the device for you, it is important that the necessary connection points are available in the home, at a maximum of 1.5 meters from the device. Creating the correct connection points or repairing existing connection points in the home is not part of our service and expertise. It is best to contact the landlord of the home or a plumber for this. Another important point to be able to connect the devices for you is that the connection points must be easily accessible. For example, if the connection points are located in or behind a cabinet, it is not always possible for our transport company to connect the device.

The required connection points per type of device:

  • Washing machine: Washing machine tap with check valve or aerator, drain, earthed socket or pull switch.
  • Condensation or heat pump dryer: Earthed socket or pull switch.
  • Air dryer: earthed socket, outlet to the outside to which the drain hose can be connected.
  • Dishwasher: Dishwasher/washing machine tap with check valve or aerator, drain, earthed socket.
  • Refrigerator or fridge-freezer combination: earthed socket.
  • Gas stove: gas connection, gas hose (this is not supplied by us).
  • Electric stove: 5-pole perilex connection point.
  • Hot: the one we have in our range can be connected to a regular earthed socket.

It is not possible to connect the devices to a regular extension cord. The wattage of a washing machine, for example, is too high for this, making such a connection unsafe. You can extend a cord using a socket.

If you choose to place a washing machine in a drip tray, it is important that the drip tray is emptied immediately as soon as a leak occurs. If there is too much water in the drip tray, this can cause a lot of damage to the washing machine. We therefore advise against the use of a drip tray in most cases.

If a delivery (or return) appointment has been scheduled, make sure that you or a housemate is present.
